Dr.
Mohammed Imamul Hassan Bhuiyan is a Professor in the Department of Electrical
and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Bangladesh University of Engineering and
Technology (BUET) since 2013. He joined the Department as a Lecturer in 1998
and later became an Assistant Professor in 2001. He obtained his B.Sc. and
M.Sc. degrees from the same and Ph.D. from Concordia University, Montreal,
Canada in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Presently he is also the Head
(additional charge) of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, BUET. He has
published more than 80 papers in international journals and conference
proceedings and has a number of awards.
Digital
signal, image and video processing, analysis of biomedical signals and images
with machine learning, brain computer interface, deep neural networks,
biometrics, signal processing in genomics, telecommunication, control and power
systems, Photonic crystal fiber.
